Since the day after Breeders Cup I have been on vacation.  I saw a little bit of West Hollywood with my friend CathyAnn, who lives there. (Rodeo Drive baby!) I stayed in Palm Springs for a few days and then drove to Las Vegas.  I was so excited to get there but wow what a lot of desert to look at.  But finally I started to see lights and buildings come into the picture.  Woohoo, can't wait to play Black Jack.  Stayed at the Venetian.  First night I started out playing Black Jack and didn't do any good.  Once I lose my small limit I don't want to play anymore.  So we moved on to the Craps table.  I had never played before and was a little nervous on how to throw the dice and bet, but my boyfriend is an expert and showed the way.  Once I got rolling I loved it.  We did really well and played for about 4 hours. (ugh my feet were killing me standing there so long.  I think I drank about 6 hot chocolates)  Ooh my new favorite gave to play.  I didn't even want to play Black Jack anymore.  The next day we played a little early and then met up with some friends, dinner and a show.  Then back to the Craps table where we had another big run for 4 hours.  We had a blast and had the Craps table going crazy.  Everybody was winning and I was the rolling the dice for about a half and hour.  VEGAS was a blast.

Finally got back to Tampa to get settled and start working.  Tampa Bay Downs will not open for training until November 20th, so my agent(Tommy Owen) and I will just walk around and see the few people that are there.  This past week the barn area has started to fill up and I have been getting on a couple horses everyday.  Feels great.  I don't feel like I lost any fitness at all.  My mind and body are refreshed and now I am raring to go.

Finally today I get to ride 2 races at Calder Race Course.  One for Tom Proctor on the turf and one for my mother short on the dirt.  Hopefully both horses will run well and get me into the winner circle.  See you at the races!
