Great start to the Tampa Bay Downs meet

Tampa Bay Downs opened on December 12, 2009 for it's new season. I rode 5 races that day and finally won the 11th race. It's great to win on opening day. Gives you that confidence and energy to strive to be your best. I had been working hard for the two weeks leading up to the beginning of the meet. Since opening day, I had a big day winning 4 races in one day on December 17 and received Jockey of the Month on December 19. I have 8 wins so far for the meet putting me at the top of the standings. I am really excited and determined to Win Win Win. This coming Saturday, December 26 I will be riding $150,000 Cloudy's Knight in the McKnight Stakes at Calder Race Course. I have a great team of people around me to help achieve success in my racing career. My boyfriend Rich Averill, agent Tommy Owen(aka: Oger) and Dave LaMarre(aka: Tampa Dave). See you at the races!

Congrats Rose on the big win at Calder. I was there on my trip to Florida. After you won the first 100,000 dollar race you gave me a pair of your goggles and I appricate that. Thanks Rose
