The next race I was a long shot but I really had a lot of confidence in my horse. I had ridden and won on him last year here for another trainer so I knew him well.
Leaving the starting gate my goal was to make the lead and see how far he would run. Well he proved to be very game and it fought it out from about the half mile pole holding off one contender and then thru out the stretch with a group of horses chasing him down to the wire. We just made it by the thin hairs on his nose to win. He was at long odds and I think he paid over $50 to win. Woohoo and kudos to my amazing horse "MUAZZAZ" and Trainer Ingrid Mason for a great job getting him ready for this race. Check out Ingrids website www.LibertyRacingStable.com
What an exciting race because I thought I got nosed out at the wire. When I galloped back to the front side I was shocked to see my number up to win. What an awesome feeling.
